Andre Rison

Real Name: Andre Previn Rison, (born: March 18, 1967 )

Andre RisonIs a retired American football wide receiver who played professionally for the National Football League's Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, and the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts. Rison was selected to the Pro Bowl five times, from 1990–1993 and once again in 1997.

In 1994, Rison's Atlanta mansion was burned down by his then-girlfriend, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of the R&B group TLC, resulting in the loss of all his possessions.

Andre played for seven teams in his NFL career, and appeared in five pro bowls and earned the MVP honor once.

Andre currently lives in Flint Michigan where he grew up.

Rison spends his time coaching the Capital Colts football team, staying in top shape, and spending time with his family. He is also active in the community of Flint, and has several projects underway in the music industry.

Biography


He was a star player at Flint Northwestern High School and in college at Michigan State University.

At Michigan State University, Andre was a three sport athlete.

Rison won a Super Bowl championship with the Green Bay Packers in 1996, scoring the first points of the game on a 54-yard touchdown catch. He also won a Grey Cup championship with the Toronto Argonauts in 2004. He is one of the few players to win professional football championships in both the United States of America and Canada. He was released by the Argonauts during the 2005 CFL season. He holds an NFL record for scoring a touchdown with 7 different teams.
